Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lifeuntox ("Lifeuntox", "we", "us") collects when you use The Crunchy Home Makeover, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the rights you have over it.

1. What we collect

• Your email address, which you give us at the end of the quiz, at checkout, or when you sign in.
• Quiz responses about household product use and habits across six rooms of your home. These answers are used to compute your Crunchy Score and tailor your plan.
• Purchase records: the fact that a purchase happened, the amount, currency, and the Stripe identifiers tied to it. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or full payment details.
• Product usage and analytics: pages viewed, actions taken inside the app, and aggregate performance signals.
• Session recordings via PostHog with all input fields masked, so the text you type (including emails, quiz answers, and free-text fields) is not captured in replays.
• Browser and device basics: IP address, user agent, language, approximate location derived from IP, and timezone. We use these to keep the service working, reduce abuse, and send daily reminders at a reasonable hour for you.

2. How we use it

• To compute, deliver, and explain your Crunchy Score and your 30-day plan.
• To provide the product you purchased and the features attached to it (Playbooks, Tracker, Vault, Decoder, Community).
• To send transactional email (receipts, password resets, score deliveries, day-30 reminders) through Resend.
• To send our newsletter and related marketing through Beehiiv. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing without affecting transactional email about your purchase.
• To improve the product: identify broken flows, prioritize fixes, and tune the plan so it works better.

3. Who processes your data on our behalf

We use a small set of trusted processors. Each one is contractually bound to use your data only to provide the service.

• Supabase — database and authentication. US-hosted.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your card details directly; we receive a confirmation and identifiers, not the card.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Beehiiv — newsletter delivery and list management.
• PostHog — product analytics and masked session recordings, hosted in the EU.

4. How long we keep it

• Unconverted quiz sessions (emails that took the quiz but did not buy) are automatically deleted 7 days after the quiz, along with their answers.
• Customer accounts are retained while the account is active so your access, history, and re-score comparison keep working.
• On request, we will delete your account and associated personal data within a reasonable period. Email info@crunchyhomemakeover.com.
• We may retain a minimal payment record where required by tax or accounting law, with personally identifying fields reduced to what the law requires.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to access a copy of your data, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or opt out of marketing at any time. Email info@crunchyhomemakeover.com from the address associated with your account and we will action it.

We honor applicable rights under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and US state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the same rights above and may use an authorized agent.

6. We do not sell your personal data

We do not sell personal information to anyone. Your quiz answers are never shared except with the processors listed in section 3, and only as needed to operate the service.

7. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, email info@crunchyhomemakeover.com and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and local storage

• Session cookies and local storage used to keep you signed in and remember your quiz state on this device.
• Analytics via PostHog, as described above. Inputs are masked.
• No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not run ad pixels, retargeting tags, or data-broker scripts on the product.
